...Okay seriously, even Giotto is kind of a scheming bastard, the only one that isn't is David and he's a cheating empath. So really, I do not mind any of mine having someone at least attempting to go plotting manipulative bastard at them, but Rufus maaaaay end up dealing with people doing the same thing right back at him.

passed_torch Giotto is another scheming bastard -AND- can sense emotions and intentions and therefore CHEATS LIKE A BITCH and I don't even know how he'd react but I know he used to play Fluffy and Dumb with the Death Note cast.
but_i_am_not_your_savior David is 400 years old. He is a grumpy old man that looks 20 and acts like a bitchy teenager and he's an empath/senses emotions and cheats that way.

Neither of those two sense actual thoughts - on the bright side, it means that if Rufus is trying to think about something like Hojo naked to troll them, Giotto would get a sense of "there is intent to try to mess with me/troll" and David would get the emotional background of "You're being a brat" but neither of them get images/specific thoughts without special circumstances (Giotto using an active power that I doubt Rufus would get hit over the head with, David having physical contact which PFFFT GOOD LUCK).

stalking_horse Saguru's a scheming detective that tries to be Sherlock Holmes, if he meets Rufus he's going to be trying to read Rufus's behavior, body language, etc., I'm sorry he exists.
silver_lucifer Kuja's a scheming bastard that used to manipulate continents. They'd probably end up verbally batting at each other and it'd be entertaining, tbh.
vipassi Mukuro's a living weapon that does intel and is a troll and a scheming bastard, have fun. He also has Spade, who is over a hundred and is another spy and black ops. So basically like dealing with Turks with less of a sense of following authority/chain of command.
humble_scholar Thancred is a bard that grew up underworld and has done military infiltrations. Depending on what he catches on to, he may play very dumb and "I AM A FLUFFY HARMLESS BARD". I'm sorry.
